Spencer Gulf from the Arid Botanical Gardens, Port Augusta

The Arid Land Botanical Gardens are large with three main walking tracks through the bush, a number of lookouts and bird hides. There are drought tolerant display gardens behind the information centre and the remainder of the garden is maintained in its natural form. These are the cliffs Matthew Flinders saw when he sailed into Spencer Gulf.

This Zebra Finch in one of three who entertained us in the gardens.
